Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly influencing employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, presenting both promising advancements and notable challenges. This training equips professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the evolving employment landscape and advocate for inclusive AI-driven workplaces. Participants will gain practical strategies to support job seekers with disabilities in an AI-driven job market while ensuring technological advancements work for, not against, them. 

This webinar is intended for employment service professionals (ESP), vocational rehabilitation counselors (VRC), special education teachers, and others who support people with disabilities navigating AI in employment.

Participants will:

  • Explore the role of AI in employment, understanding how AI is transforming hiring, workplace accessibility, and job tasks for job seekers with disabilities; 
  • Examine challenges and bias in AI that present potential barriers, including AI-driven hiring discrimination, accessibility concerns, and the risk of widening employment gaps; and
  • Offer advocacy and inclusive strategies that leverage AI to support job seekers, fair hiring practices, and accessible workplaces.
